With some key contributions from the Bay Area own ‘Concrete Crew’, all the homies were able to contribute to a video that went way above and beyond what we were hoping to accomplish. After watching our viral review of the new Skittles “Sweet Heat” flavor, JUUL contacted us and asked if we’d stop by their Headquarters in San Francisco to test their soon-to-be-released XL Pods. I’m not sure what Skittles and vape pens have in common, but The Homies felt no need to question Juul’s superior logic. We took a break during a hill-bomb session in S.F. last week to stop by JUUL headquarters and pick up a few demo pods (including a NEW special edition flavor). Not to spoil the video review… but if the original Juul pods weren’t addicting enough, then you’ll surely crave these new XL pods (with 60% more e-liquid). There are a few issues you might have with these pods when they’re released, so watch the video and make sure you’re ready to upgrade to the next level of addictive consumption.

It’s back! After a long hiatus, Celebrity Deathmatch has been resurrected for a special “YouTube Celebrity Deathmatch” edition. With so many YouTube celebrities raging it up at the Follower Fiesta, it was only a matter of time before a bloody battle would ensue. The homies ventured down to San Diego last weekend to catch a ringside glimpse of the carnage. Only one celebrity walked away with the Platinum Subscriber Plaque and rights to claim themselves the official COAT (channel of all time)… You’ll never guess who it is (but never say never)…
“What do you get when you cross a Flamingo and a Sloth? I’m not actually too sure, but you might get some horrifically pink and lethargic fur-feather creature with a grinning beak and three-toed claws… OR you get the newest Homie to the Hella Grip Homie Family, Nathan Fleming. The first time we heard of the elusive Flemongo was when some of his buddies hit up Hella Grip a few years ago, asking if we could give Nathan a Birthday shoutout (We obvi went through with the shoutout… cause we’re not dicks who ruin birthdays). Eventually we started seeing all the sick footage of Nathan popping up from the other side of the planet, and we figured it would be a good idea to use Hella Grip’s personal stork to fly a small box of griptape and stickers across a massive span of ocean to the Flemongo’s natural habitat. We’re super stoked to finally have a Homie who hails from the savage surface of Australia, and even though Nathan’s distance from the HGHQ makes it hard to have a celebratory gathering of shredders, the homie vibes are always capable of traveling around the planet and through the beastliest of barriers. So don’t worry fellow shredders from Down Under, all Tha Homies are secreting positive vibes and sending ‘em your way now. If you happen to see our stork down there, please feed her some bread (or Macca’s fries) and show her the correct direction to fly back to Oakland.
