Bridge Sloth

September 19, 2018By hellagripBlog

“Who doesn’t love bridges? They’re a civil engineer’s way of saying, “Hey buddy, come on over and chill. Don’t worry about crossing those frigid waters, friend.” Hella Grip is based in the California Bay Area, so we’ve got a few loveable bridges of our own, like the infamous Golden Gate Bridge (too touristy for me; it’s not even gold) and the hella classic Bay Bridge (my personal favorite; the silver coloring never disappoints). The Homies wanted to honor the local bridges that connect us to our fellow shredders. Rather than create a new griptape logo that selfishly features an iconic California structure, we decided it would be friendlier to design an all-inclusive bridge logo. The new Bridge Sloth griptape features a classic suspension bridge, dwarfed by a beautiful OG Sloth in the background (like a picture-perfect slothy sunset). We’re slappin’ this logo on our 6 x 24 inch, Formula-C sheets. Maybe you’ll drive across a bridge on your way to the local scoot shop to pick up a sheet Bridge Sloth (Hopefully you don’t pay $5 bridge tolls, like us)..” by the Boss McMasher ( @mcmasher ).. #BridgeSloth

CLICK BAIT CREW: World’s Highest Slide

September 11, 2018By hellagripBlog

The Homies got really high again… like REALLY HIGH

This wasn’t the kind of high that required sacred herbs (obligatory weed reference; cause you have to anytime you say “really high” nowadays… I hate anecdotes). This was the kind of high that only extreme altitude could provide. We ventured to one of Peru’s highest mountain peaks just so we could experience the World’s Highest Slide (by elevation). You’re gonna need some extra oxygen canisters nearby if you wanna watch along as we send it all the way back down to rock-bottom.

FEATURING: Andrew Haag, Anton Abramson, Jake Sorensen, 2B, Addy McMasher, Gavin, Ryan Myers, Jack Kopp, Kaleb, Davie Coe, Zack Martin, Michael Hohmann, Logan Fuller & Cooper Klaar.

RAW: Stefan, Svensson & Wheeland “Hella Ruthless”

July 26, 2018By hellagripBlog

The largest gathering of Hella Grip Homies to ever occur was witnessed last month. Over the period of two weeks, the events were captured by the one & only Mr. Josh Young. With some key contributions from the Bay Area own ‘Concrete Crew’, all the homies were able to contribute to a video that went way above and beyond what we were hoping to accomplish. This is Hella Ruthless..

CLICK BAIT CREW: New JUUL Pod XL Review

July 24, 2018By hellagripBlog

After watching our viral review of the new Skittles “Sweet Heat” flavor, JUUL contacted us and asked if we’d stop by their Headquarters in San Francisco to test their soon-to-be-released XL Pods. I’m not sure what Skittles and vape pens have in common, but The Homies felt no need to question Juul’s superior logic. We took a break during a hill-bomb session in S.F. last week to stop by JUUL headquarters and pick up a few demo pods (including a NEW special edition flavor). Not to spoil the video review… but if the original Juul pods weren’t addicting enough, then you’ll surely crave these new XL pods (with 60% more e-liquid). There are a few issues you might have with these pods when they’re released, so watch the video and make sure you’re ready to upgrade to the next level of addictive consumption.

FEATURING: Anton Abramson, Andrew Haag, Jake Sorensen, 2B, Addy McMasher, Grant Schofield, Kevin Closson, Trevor Crowell, Patrick Nguyen, Allen Tran, Jack Kopp, Josh Fedor, Josh Higgins & David Coe.
